Yulla Kanda, also known as the Shri Krishna Temple, is perched at an astounding altitude of approximately 3,600 meters (11,800 feet) above sea level in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Revered as the world’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, Yulla Kanda is not only a significant spiritual site but also a marvel of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Best Time to Visit

The ideal time to visit Yulla Kanda is during the summer months from May to September when the weather is relatively mild and the trails are accessible. During this period, the temperatures range between 10°C to 20°C, making it comfortable for trekking and outdoor activities.

Reach Tapri by next Morning Freshen-up and relax at the hotel. Explore Nearby areas in Evening Come back to the hotel Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Wake up & post breakfast drive to Yulla Village Begin the trek covering approximately 10 kilometers, which will take about 4-6 hours. Enjoy a packed lunch on the trail or upon reaching the base camp. Witness awe-inspiring beauty. Dinner at the base camp and overnight stay in camp tents under the stars.

Wake up early morning and witness a beautiful sunrise. After breakfast, trek to Yulla Kanda, home to the highest Krishna temple in the world. Spend time exploring the temple Trek back to Yulla Village. Have lunch on the way and then travel back to Tapri.
