Shrikhand Mahadev is the most toughest pilgrimage in India. This abode of lord Shiva is situated in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh at height of 17,150 ft (5227 meters) above sea level. It takes almost 7 days to complete and has one of the scintillating views. The trail is very challenging and flora and fauna is found on the trek which makes it more beautiful. The view from the peak is breathtaking. July to September is the best time to attempt the Shrikhand Mahadev trek.
The peak resembles Shivaling and it was believed that Lord Shiva meditated and the Pandavas used to visit this peak. According to administration, Shivaling is around 75 foot long and 46 foot in breadth. The most important Shrikhand Mahadev is one of the 5 Kailash which is said to be the abode of Lord Shiva.

Chandigarh to Jaon (Drive 300km, 10hrs).
Jaon to Thachdu (Trek – 12 km).
Thachdu to Bheemdwar via Kali Ghati (Trek -10 km).
Bheemdwar to Shrikhand Mahadev and return (Trek 12 km).
Bheemdwar to Thachdu via Kali Ghati (Trek 10km).
Thachdu to Jaon (Trek – 12km).
Jaon to Chandigarh (Drive 10 hours). & you are free to Proceed back to the home destination with sweet memories.

Note

– Trekker has to carry his/her backpack by own if someone wants a Personal Porter, kindly
inform in advance so we can arrange. Porter charges extra.
– Must follow Trek leaders instructions, if not; he can kick-out you from the group.
– Alcohol & other drug substances are strictly prohibited during trek itinerary.
– Venturing in mountains are highly dangerous, HRI or anyone related to organizing team not
responsible for any mishap, death, or accident.
